Unusual Normal and Superconducting State Properties Observed in Hydrothermal Fe1-δ Se Flakes

چکیده
The electronic and superconducting properties of Fe1-xSe single-crystal flakes grown hydrothermally are studied by the transport measurements under zero high magnetic fields up to 38.5 T. results contrast sharply with those previously reported for nematically ordered FeSe chemical-vapor-transport (CVT) growth. No signature nematicity, but an evident metal-to-nonmetal crossover increasing temperature, is detected in normal state present hydrothermal samples. Interestingly, a higher critical temperature Tc 13.2 K observed compared suppressed 9 presence nematicity CVT FeSe. Moreover, upper field zero-temperature limit found be isotropic respect direction reach value ~42 T, which breaks Pauli factor 1.8.

Preferred Orientation Contribution to the Anisotropic Normal State Resistivity in Superconducting Melt-Cast Processed Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+δ
We describe how the contribution of crystallographic texture to the anisotropy of the resistivity of polycrystalline samples can be estimated by averaging over crystallographic orientations through a geometric mean approach. The calculation takes into account the orientation distribution refined from neutron diffraction data and literature values for the single crystal resistivity tensor. The e...
متن کاملUnusual Nonlinear Dynamics Observed in NbN Superconducting Microwave Resonators
We report on some unusual nonlinear dynamics observed in several NbN superconducting stripline microwave resonators. Among the nonlinear effects observed: abrupt bifurcations within the resonance lineshape, hysteretic behavior, hysteresis loops changing direction, resonance shift and critical coupling. Weak links forming at the boundaries of the columnar structure of the NbN films are hypothesi...
متن کاملAnelastic characterization and superconducting properties of RuSr2GdCu2O8+δ
Since the discovery of the high Tc superconductors, many researches have been carried out on the different properties of these materials, especially on the transition temperature into the superconducting state. The rutheno-cuprates belong to a new class of composites, which were synthesized for the first time by Bauernfeind in 1995. Bernhard and collaborators discovered, in 1999, the coexistenc...

Bi2Mn2O7 nano-powders were synthesized via a stoichiometric 1:1 Bi:Mn molar ratio hydrothermal method at 180 °C for 48 h in a 1M NaOH aqueous solution; and solid state method, using Bi(NO3)3.5H2O and MnO2 as raw materials. The synthesized materials were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) technique. Also, the rietveld analysis was done in FullProf in profile matching mode. It was f...
متن کاملNature of the enigmatic pseudogap state: novel magnetic order in superconducting HgBa2CuO4+δ
The nature of the enigmatic pseudogap region of the phase diagram is the most important and intriguing unsolved puzzle in the field of high transitiontemperature (Tc) superconductivity. This region, the temperature range above Tc and below a characteristic temperature T*, is characterized by highly anomalous magnetic, charge transport, thermodynamic and optical properties [1-2]. Associated with...
